The Essa Public Library, with locations in Angus and Thornton, Ontario, is a cornerstone of the community, offering a range of programs tailored to all age groups. Guided by their values of "Imagine, Discover, Connect," the library is dedicated to nurturing imagination, promoting lifelong learning, and fostering community connections through accessible services and engaging initiatives.
The newly designed logo for the library reflects its core values and mission. Incorporating puzzle pieces shaped like leaves, the logo symbolizes the intricate connections within the community and the diverse programs offered by the library. This design choice embodies the essence of growth and development that occurs within the library's walls and through its programs.
Maintaining the existing colour palette while introducing purple for contrast, the logo exudes playfulness and vibrancy, aligning perfectly with the library's emphasis on growth and community engagement. The accessible typeface used further enhances the logo's readability and inclusivity.

The logo was voted in by the Board of Directors in December of 2023 and has now been officially adopted.
